Abstract
Today, cities with Islamic characteristics have undergone many changes in crossing their original traditions and values and imitating western cities in such a way that, according to some experts, there is no real city based on Islamic characteristics. This research aims to study the relationship between the Iranian-Islamic city and the approach of urban livability as a solution to the problems that have arisen in the cities of the 21st century by using the meta-combination method of Persian printed articles. The research method in this research is qualitative and with the benefit of content analysis. In this research, which is a documentary type, the data was collected using filters such as research language, published articles, scientific-research rank of the publication. The tool used is MAXQDA qualitative analysis software. The statistical population of the current research is available Persian studies in the period of 1390-1400. 27 articles on the subject of Iranian-Islamic cities and 29 articles on urban livability have been reviewed. The findings show that the Iranian Islamic city and urban livability are common in neighborhood-oriented indicators, signs and symbols, access, pedestrian-oriented, neighborhood, beautification, security, participation, identity, justice and equality, social interaction, vitality, balance, , respect, poverty alleviation, social cohesion, economic justice, naturalism, cleanliness, environmental protection, importance of water, light and lighting, etc and among the dissimilarities, we can mention economic and social legality, humanism, priority of public interests, and provision of needs in Iranian Islamic city within neighborhoods and provision of needs in livable cities on a city scale.
